Overview of Eyebrows & Lashes Treatment

Eyebrows & Lashes Treatment can help:

  • Add volume to sparse eyebrows and lashes
  • Darken your lashes
  • Increase the length and thickness of your eyebrows and your lashes

Overview

LATISSE® is an effective eyelash extension treatment. As well as providing you with luscious eyebrows and lashes, maintenance is easier, and less expensive, than eyelash extensions.

How does LATISSE® work?
The active ingredient is called bimatoprost. It was first approved in 2001, as a medical product to lower intraocular pressure in people with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Patients treated for this specific eye condition, experienced an unexpected improvement in eyelash appearance as a side effect.

Today, people use LATISSE® to enhance their eyebrows and lashes, by simply applying the solution to the necessary spots. LATISSE® is available for pick up at our clinic. And for your convenience, we offer it in the ideal 5 ml size. This is exactly what you need, for the 16 weeks required to enjoy the very best results.

That’s not all!

We are delighted to offer you the Brilliant Distinctions™ loyalty program for LATISSE®. So call us today at (519) 741-5933 to find out how LATISSE® will benefit you!

Common questions you might have:

Is LATISSE® safe?

The long-term safety of bimatoprost for therapeutic use has been recognized by the medical community and well established based on use in 32 clinical trials involving more than 5,700 glaucoma patients and more than 13 years of clinical trial experience.

Could my eyes change colour with LATISSE®?

Although there are no reports of eye colour change while using LATISSE®, there is a very low incidence of permanent increased brown iris pigmentation when bimatoprost is administered directly into the eye.

What happens if I stop using LATISSE®?

If LATISSE® is discontinued, lashes are expected to gradually return to their pre-treatment appearance.

Can anyone use LATISSE®?

LATISSE® should not be used by anyone allergic to any of the ingredients, who have no existing visible eyelashes, or those pregnant or breastfeeding.

You should not use LATISSE® if you have an active eye infection, other eye diseases, or if you need eye surgery.

Can I wear mascara and/or contact lenses while using LATISSE®?

Mascara can be applied while using LATISSE®. Contact lenses should be removed prior to the application of LATISSE® solution and may then be reinserted 15 minutes after application.
